Spielberg wins accolade for humanitarian work

Award-winning filmmaker Steven Spielberg, long recognised for his artistic achievements, has been honoured with the Liberty Medal for his compassion and humanitarian work.

Former President Bill Clinton presented the medal to Spielberg at Philadelphia’s National Constitution Centre, which gives the annual award to those whose actions represent the founding principles of the United States.
