Crowe turns Robin Hood - for real

In his latest role, he robs from the rich and gives to the poor - now Russell Crowe has shown himself to be something of a real-life Robin Hood.

While off set, the Hollywood actor donated £1,000 (€1,200) to a charity shop.

Volunteers at Cancer Research UK, in Sunningdale, Berkshire, were shocked to see the Oscar-winning actor, who was on a break from filming in nearby Virginia Water, stroll into the shop and hand them a cheque.
