Barton 'improving'

Mischa Barton was “making improvements” and planned to return to work nearly a week after Los Angeles police said they escorted her for an undisclosed medical problem.

Her spokesman Craig Schneider said the 23-year-old actress was “still seeking treatment but making improvements”.

He would not elaborate on Barton’s condition, but said she planned to report for work on the new CW series 'The Beautiful Life' later this month, in which she stars as a pill-popping supermodel.
