Jacko an inspiration for Jade

Jade Goody was inspired to fight cancer by Michael Jackson.

The former ‘Big Brother’ star – who died in March – was spurred on by the late ‘Thriller’ singer after he rang her while she was receiving treatment in hospital.

Jade’s widower Jack Tweed said: “He wanted to speak to Jade but she wasn’t well enough to speak to him so I had to phone him, it was very weird. He just went, ‘Hello, Jack, this is Michael Jackson.’

“He was just giving his love for Jade, really, and he wanted Jade to see him at his concerts at the O2 arena in July.”

Tweed also said he relate to the pain Jackson’s family were going through following the star’s sudden death on Thursday.

He added: “I don’t think there’s any advice you can give really. You grieve in your own way.”

Meanwhile, Tweed, 22, has reportedly been comforted by a stunning brunette as he struggles to cope with the loss of Goody.

The 21-year-old was spotted enjoying a day at the races with Francesca Allured but the pair insist they’re just good friends.
