Baby boy for Maguire

Spiderman star Tobey Maguire and his jewellery designer wife Jennifer Meyer are celebrating after becoming parents to a baby boy.

The child, the couple's second, was born on Friday, according to America's Life & Style magazine.

Maguire's spokeswoman confirmed the couple was expecting a little brother or sister for their two-year-old daughter Ruby late last year.

Meyer gave birth to Ruby, in 2006.
