Hasselhoff in hospital

Former 'Baywatch' star David Hasselhoff was taken to hospital in Los Angeles on Saturday night - allegedly suffering from alcohol poisoning.

The 'America's Got Talent' judge was reportedly found unconscious on the floor of his Encino, California home by his 16-year-old daughter Hayley.

The teenager called her mother, the star's ex-wife Pamela Bach, and the pair drove him to LA's Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, according to Radar Online.

A source told the website, "(Hayley kept) slapping her dad’s face. He was barely breathing when they got him at the hospital.

“He’s recovering. Pam was his bedside till 4am. This is about the seventh time he’s been taken to a hospital over the last few years with alcohol poisoning."

Hasselhoff’s alcohol problems were exposed in 2007 when home video footage of the star in a drunken state leaked onto the internet.

The 56-year-old later checked into a rehabilitation facility in a bid to kick his drink demons.
