Williams heading to Broadway

Robin Williams is taking his one-man show to Broadway.

The actor is to perform his solo show 'Weapons of Self-Destruction' at the New York theatre district's Neil Simon Theatre, following a successful 80-city US tour.

Williams will make five performances from April 28 through to May 3, according to Variety.

The screen star last performed in New York's theatreland in 2002, with 'Robin Williams: Live on Broadway'.
