'Milk' party axed before Penn's win
The producers of 'Milk' were so convinced they would lose out at the Academy Awards on Sunday, they reportedly cancelled a planned post-ceremony party.
The biopic, which stars Sean Penn as assassinated American politician and gay rights activist Harvey Milk, was nominated in eight categories at this year's Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director for Gus Van Sant.
