'Too tired' Goody sends hot drinks to press

Jade Goody extended the hand of friendship to the media again today when she sent out trays of tea and coffee to the press pack camped outside her house.

The cancer-stricken celebrity, who has lived in the public eye since appearing on Big Brother in 2002, asked friends to give out the hot drinks because she was worried reporters might be cold.

Goody’s friend, Kevin Adams, told reporters Goody wanted to bring the drinks herself but was too tired.

He said: “Jade wanted me to say she’s sorry she can’t come out and see you herself but she’s a bit tired.

“She wanted me to bring you some tea and coffee and she hopes it will keep you warm.”

Reporters and photographers have been camped outside Goody’s home since she revealed last week she may have less than a month to live. Goody is due to marry fiancee Jack Tweed on Sunday.

A steady stream of friends and wellwishers brought cards, presents and flowers to the house today.
