Oscar host backs Ledger for win

This year’s Oscar host Hugh Jackman says he hopes Heath Ledger wins the Best Supporting Actor gong for his role in 'The Dark Knight'.

“I can’t hide the fact that I would really love for that honour to be bestowed upon him,” the Aussie actor said. “It would be fitting and I think he deserves it.”
