Sam Mendes’s production company is involved in plans to turn acclaimed drama 'Lost in Austen' into a Hollywood movie.

The story, which was shown on ITV1 last year, featured a frustrated romantic Jane Austen fan transported back in time to the world of 'Pride and Prejudice'.
