Warm reception as Ross returns from suspension

Jonathan Ross returned to a warm reception on his chat show today with the words: “So, where were we?”

Ross, aged 47, was suspended from his Friday night programme for 12 weeks after he and Russell Brand left a series of offensive messages on Andrew Sachs’s answering machine.
