Newton-John: 'Leave Travolta alone'

Olivia Newton-John has urged the media to leave her pal alone as he grieves the death of his son.

The actress/singer has been in touch with the devastated star in recent days, and now she's keen to keep the press away from Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston.

Jett Travolta, 16, succumbed to a seizure disorder while the Travolta family were vacationing in the Bahamas on January 2.

Newton-John says: "I think it’s time to leave people alone when they are grieving. And I just send him a lot of love. It’s the worse thing that can happen to a parent. I send love to him and Kelly."
