Jeff Beck proud to join Hall of Fame

Guitarist Jeff Beck said today he was thrilled to be joining the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Beck will be inducted in Cleveland, Ohio in the US on April 4, along with Little Anthony & The Imperials, Metallica, Run-DMC and Bobby Womack.

Beck, who has had a 40-year career, said: “It’s a great thrill to be recognised by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, especially for the 25th anniversary.

“Nobody makes music for the honours but to take a place alongside so many of your own heroes is an indescribable feeling. I’m a very humbled and proud man right now.”

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland is dedicated to recording the history of some of the best-known figures in the music industry.
