Radiohead and Jay-Z agree to collaborate

Jay-Z has been paired up with rockers Radiohead for a new internet 'mash-ups' project titled 'Jaydiohead'.

The hip-hop star's '99 Problems' has been mixed with Radiohead's 'The National Anthem', while his track 'Dirt Off Your Shoulder' has been merged with 'Paranoid Android'.

The cross-genre music has so far been praised by fans of both artists since Minty Fresh Beats posted the mixes on his MySpace.com page on December 30 and some devotees have even come up with artwork for the disc should it ever be officially released.

It's not the first time Jay-Z's work has been altered by an unusual collaboration - he teamed up with Linkin' Park for Collision Course, which was officially released in 2004.

And he was paired with The Beatles when DJ Danger Mouse mixed Jay-Z's 'The Black Album' with the Fab Four's 1968 self-titled LP, commonly known as 'The White Album', to create 'The Grey Album' that same year.

Other DJs have also combined the MC's music with that of Coldplay to produce the mixtape titled 'Viva la Hova', and an Oasis 'mash-up' was named 'OJayZ'.
