Based on the best-selling books by Louise Rennison, Angus, Thongs And Full-Frontal Snogging is a light-hearted slice of angst and alienation.

It centres on Georgia Nicholson (Georgia Groome), a typical 14-year-old permanently embarrassed by her loved-up parents (Davies, Taylor), desperate to fit in at school and frustrated by her inability to find a boyfriend.

Gurinder Chadha’s film is energetic and charming but has a very limited range outside of the target teen audience. Snappy teen-speak captures the spirit and energy of modern youth!, while the fresh-faced cast delivers natural, endearing performances, which prove adolescents are just as stroppy today as they ever were.
