LL Cool J quits Janet Jackson tour

Janet Jackson's US tour has been dealt another setback - rapper LL Cool J has quit as the support act for the 'Rock Witchu' roadshow.

Jackson was forced to cancel a string of shows due to a bout of vertigo earlier this month, but returned to the stage on October 15.

However, the remaining gigs on the tour will no longer feature an opening set by LL Cool J after he pulled out of the concerts yesterday, citing unspecified scheduling conflicts.

The 'Nasty' singer is due to continue with her first tour in seven years and will play in Auburn Hills, Michigan today before hitting New York on Saturday.
