Lacklustre 'Incredible Hulk' fails to shine

Following his exposure to gamma radiation and physical transformation, Bruce Banner hides in Brazil, hoping to evade General Thaddeus ’Thunderbolt’ Ross and the military.

US forces track Banner down but the scientist escapes by the skin of his teeth, killing all of Ross’s men except for Emil Blonsky, who yearns to possess the same ferocity and strength as the Hulk.

In a lacklustre rewrite of the opening chapter of the Marvel Comics superhero, the eponymous behemoth still looks like giant plastic action figure; the Hulk doesn’t interact seamlessly with live-action elements or co-stars.
