Not a film to entertain you, but one to make you think about characters in difficult situations … even about society itself.

The film concerns itself with the fate of two people moving in opposite geographical directions – a Ukrainian nurse to the West and an Austrian security guard to the East – but on a similar downward path into hopelessness and exploitation.

It is not, therefore, a film of an uplifting nature but a powerful one nonetheless that takes us into the dark shadows of life.
