Pitt evacuated from hotel
Brad Pitt was left on the street in Toronto, Canada as he prepared for his film festival appearance on September 5 - when a fire forced the evacuation of the hotel he was staying in.
The movie star was staying at the Park Hyatt in the city when management decided to ask all guests to leave when a blaze broke out at a condo complex next door.
Pitt's security team jumped to action to make sure the actor could be evacuated safely and without a media fuss, according to Life & Style magazine.
An eyewitness says: "It was total chaos. His security team immediately decided to evacuate Brad to avoid any possible threat. He was surrounded by eight security men and four policemen - it was crazy. It was as if Brad was the president!"
Within two hours Pitt was given the all-clear to return to his suite.
