Lucas confirms 'Star Wars' TV series

George Lucas has confirmed that there will be a live action TV series relating to the 'Star Wars' universe.

“It’s going ahead,” says the director. “We’re in the process of writing screenplays right now. I’ve been working on it for about a year. It’s going to take a while because it’s really hard to do, but we’re not quite sure yet until we’re further along in the process.”
