Jay-Z 'has not quit Glastonbury'

Rapper Shawn 'Jay-Z' Carter has not pulled out of Glastonbury festival, according to the event's organiser.

The hip-hop star is scheduled to play at this summer's festival, but is reportedly considering cancelling after a series of rows with organisers.

It is believed Carter is angered by suggestions that he is to blame for poor ticket sales.

But Glastonbury festival organiser Michael Eavis has denied a rift. He says: "I spoke to his people this weekend. Everything is fine. I'm excited."
