Electric Picnic tickets on sale at 9am

Punk legends The Sex Pistols are among the headline acts confirmed for this year’s Electric Picnic.

Weekend tickets, including camping, from August 29 to 31 inclusive cost €240.

Family camping tickets – for two adults and up to four children (under 12) are priced at €480 each.

The boutique festival in Stradbally will feature more than 180 acts including My Bloody Valentine, Franz Ferdinand, Sigur Ros, Goldfrapp, Duffy and The Waterboys.

Patrons can also enjoy the comedy stage, a circus and the Body and Soul Village which offers yoga, log fires and ambient bean bag lounging, according to the organisers.
