Judge delays OJ's robbery and kidnapping trial

A Nevada judge has agreed to delay OJ Simpson's armed robbery and kidnapping trial until September.

District Court Judge Jackie Glass has given defence lawyers Yale Galanter and John Moran Jr more time to prepare for the trial, according to the attorneys, who met with the official on Friday morning.

Galanter is Simpson's lawyer, while Moran Jr. is representing his co-defendant Charles Ehrlich.

Last November, Simpson, Ehrlich and a third defendant, Clarence 'CJ' Stewart, pleaded not guilty to charges of armed robbery and kidnapping in relation to a sports memorabilia heist in Las Vegas in September.

The trial now has a start date of 8 September.
