Gibb teams up with Russian unknown

The Bee Gees star Robin Gibb has teamed up with a little known Russian pop star to re-record disco classic 'Stayin' Alive'.

Russian Valerieya wrote to the singer last year, enclosing a copy of her cover of the 1978 classic - and Gibb was so impressed with her talents, he vowed to work with the star and raise her profile in western Europe.
