Watts directed anger at female snappers

Actress Naomi Watts was shocked when female photographers pursued her while she was pregnant.

The Australian star tried hard not to react to being hounded daily by paparazzi desperate for a shot of her swollen tummy - but found it impossible when her predators were women.

Watts, who gave birth to Alexander - her first child with fiance Live Schreiber in July - says: "When I was pregnant, I really picked on the female paparazzi, because I felt like they should have had a conscience.

"I once chased one. That doesn't normally happen because I'm not a confrontational person. But they can really hit your trip switch. You feel so invaded."
