Sandler fails to shine in Chuck and Larry flop

Almost too embarrassing for words is 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry' (Universal; €24.99).

Adam Sandler has a gay old time with Kevin James as two firemen who find themselves compelled to shack up for financial reasons.

It’s an implausible plot, with clichés in abundance and an unfunny script. The many extra features don’t make up for this risible effort.
