Police have no plans to charge Spears

Britney Spears will not be charged with any offence following a stand-off with police at her Beverly Hills, California mansion on Thursday night.

The troubled singer was admitted to Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after the incident, which occurred when she refused to hand over her two boys to ex-husband Kevin Federline after a scheduled visit.
