'Friends' star Schwimmer wants a wife

Actor David Schwimmer is urgently seeking a woman to fall in love with and marry - following immense pressure from his mother.

The former 'Friends' star, 41, has gone from one dead-end romance to the next, and now fears he will never settle down - thanks largely to the concerns of his scaremongering mum.

"My mother asks me every other week: 'Have you found a nice girlfriend?' Now I have started to ask myself the same question," he said.

"I could have a wife and family by now. I haven't even come close to engagement. I am struggling to make a commitment."
