Iranian band plan concert with Chris de Burgh

Chris de Burgh is heading to Iran.

The Irish artist is to be the first ever western musician to perform alongside an Iranian group since the country's Islamic revolution in 1979.

According to a statement on the Iranian band Arian's website, De Burgh is one of Iran's most loved and popular artists due to his respectful and comforting style which is always 'full of love for humanity'.
