Unions representing striking Hollywood writers have filed an unfair labour practices complaint, claiming studios broke the law by ending negotiations.

The Writers Guild of America demanded in a statement that the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers returns to the bargaining so the six-week strike can be ended and thousands of workers affected by the walkout can return to their jobs.
