Tunstall: 'Deaf brother helped me deal with adoption'

KT Tunstall has heaped praise on her deaf brother Daniel for helping her to come to terms with her adoption.

The 'Suddenly I See' singer admits her close relationship with her disabled brother, who is an award-winning tennis player, helped her to realise she was lucky to have been brought up in a loving family - despite not having the same genetics.

She says: "I think there would have been tension if Daniel hadn't been born deaf. Any personal woes I had with being adopted - which I don't remember having - were wiped out next to that."
