Smashing Pumpkins announce two Irish dates

Smashing Pumpkins are to play will play two Irish dates as part of the European leg of the eagerly awaited world tour, it has been announced.

The band will play RDS Simmonscourt Saturday, February 9, and Kings Hall, Belfast, on Sunday February 10, 2008.

Lead singer Billy Corgan and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin on drums are the only members of the original line-up who will play the ‘Reunion’ tour, however.

Ginger Reyes will feature on bass, Jeff Schroeder is on guitar, with Lisa Harriton on keyboards.

Tickets go on sale this Tuesday, November 27 at 9am from Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide.
