Rise of the Silver Surfer an impressive follow-up
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (Fox, €24.99) is a decent enough follow up to the 2005 outing.
The quartet of scientists and space engineers have taken on superhuman powers and can do amazing things — Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Jessica Alba) can disappear at will, while brother Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch (Chris Evans) can spontaneously combust.
This time they take on the Silver Surfer (Laurence Fishburne), who threatens the world’s very existence. Fox has been generous with the extras.
The single disc edition includes audio commentaries, extended and deleted scenes plus two featurettes, while the double disc version comes with two extended documentaries on the making of the film and the realisation of comic book characters to film.
