A drama-doc based on the book by Debbie, the wife of Joy Division’s Ian Curtis, telling the story of the iconic band and the tragic Curtis, who took his own life just as the band was preparing for its Stateside debut.

Riley plays Curtis, Morton his wife and Lara the mistress of the doomed singer in a gritty, no-holds-barred drama that gets right to the tortured heart of its subject. The strength of the film lies in the excellent playing of the cast, with a special nod to Riley who does wonders as Curtis.
