Kevin Federline shocked court watchers minutes ago when he turned up for a hearing into his ongoing child custody dispute with ex-wife Britney Spears, sporting an eye-patch.

The rapper/dancer, who has been handed physical custody of the couple's two young sons, was not expected to join attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan at the Los Angeles hearing on Wednesday.
