Kerry Katona has been struck down by a mystery illness, according to tabloid reports.

The British reality TV star, 27, is reported to have seen specialists at a private hospital in Chelmsford, south-east England - who warned she may have to undergo an emergency operation.

But doctors are struggling to diagnose her condition.

A source tells British newspaper The Sun: "She started bleeding for no apparent reason and was obviously very concerned. She has seen a specialist because she has obviously got problems but doctors aren't exactly sure what's wrong."
