Hollywood star Catherine Zeta-Jones has ruled out having anymore children with husband Michael Douglas - because her family life is already "hectic".

The Chicago actress - who is mother to Dylan, seven, and four-year-old Carys - says she is happy with the children she has and there are no plans to have more.

She says: "I'd love to but my life is so hectic. I'm very happy with one of each.

"They're healthy, happy, funny ... so I'm done."

She also confesses an experience during her time on a production of 42nd Street on London's West End at the age of 17 has put her off adding to her brood.

She reveals: "I had a room in a single mum's house, with this baby. I'd never changed a (diaper) before and she asked me one morning if I could look after the baby and I was like, 'What? I've got rehearsals at 3, and I don't know whether I can do it ... don't leave me alone with a child!'"
