Simpsons movie opens in Springfield, Tallaght

The long awaited Simpson's movie went on national release yesterday after it's Irish Premiere was held in Springfield, Tallaght following a campaign by local Fianna Fáil TD Charlie O'Connor to have the movie screened there.

The world premiere of the movie was held in Springfield, Vermont in the US after a nationwide competition for the honour to host it.
