Clarkson admits taking marijuana

Clean-cut pop star Kelly Clarkson has revealed she once gobbled down a marijuana-laced cookie in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

The 'Since U Been Gone' singer admits she took advantage of laws in the European city, where marijuana use is legal.

"I don't ever do anything illegal here (in America)… I've never tried any drugs," she told USA Weekend magazine. "I wouldn't do anything that would cause holes in your brain or your nasal cavity."

"Call me Texan, but I don't think of marijuana like that."

Clarkson insisted she has never tried the drug since.
