Weller braced for tell-all biography

Paul Weller has been warned to brace himself for a new tell-all biography by one of his friends.

The veteran rocker's pal Paolo Hewitt has written a biography of The Jam star, entitled, Paul Weller: The Changing Man.

But Hewitt, who has already written several music books, has hit back at claims he has betrayed Weller.

He says: "I am being criticised for biting the hand that feeds me - but it never has."

However, Hewitt admits the readers will see a different side to the music star.

He adds: "This is the frankest ever portrait of Paul. It's not a 'he is wonderful book' but a 'how he is book' - flaws and greatness revealed."

The biography will be released in September.
