Co Kildare woman crowned Miss Ireland

A 21-year-old from Co Kildare has been crowned Miss Ireland.

Blathnaid McKenna from Tullyeast took the title at a glittering Gala Black Tie Event in Cork last night.

The event follows a six-month search to uncover the country's most beautiful women.
