Viewers to see 'gruelling' apprentice final

The winner of The Apprentice and a £100,000 (€148,000) plum job working with Alan Sugar will be revealed today.

Finalists Kristina Grimes and Simon Ambrose will be shown tonight battling it out for the job in the final challenge of the series.

At the end, viewers will learn whether single mother Grimes, 36, or former investment banker Ambrose, 27, will hear Alan Sugar say those words: “You’re hired.”

They both made the final after Katie Hopkins, 31, who allegedly had a fling with fellow contestant and ex-army lieutenant Paul Callaghan on the BBC One programme, dramatically bowed out.

The final test on the show is billed as Mr Sugar’s “most ambitious to date”.
