Kanye West changes album release date

Hip-hop star Kanye West is releasing his third album 'Graduation' early, to avoid a sales war with rival rapper 50 Cent.

50 Cent has delayed the release of his disc 'Curtis' from 26 June to 4 September, claiming the quality would be affected if it was released in the summer.

The new date coincided with West's album, and MTV reports 'Graduation' will now hit stories in late August - several weeks before its original release date.
