Winehouse apologises to Elton for cancelled gig

English singer Amy Winehouse has apologised to Elton John for cancelling one of her London gigs earlier this year, after the veteran rocker bought a ticket for the axed show.

John and partner David Furnish bought tickets for the March 8 concert at the Shepherds Bush Empire and were dismayed when Winehouse pulled the plug at the last minute, citing "unforeseen circumstances".
