If director Brewer had a mind he’d change it almost as many times as he seems to have done with this film … he can’t quite decide what sort of film he wants.

The story concerns white trash Rae (Ricci) whose boyfriend Ronnie (Timberlake) tries to save. When a friend of Ronnie attacks her and leaves her for dead, blues musician Lazarus (Jackson) takes her in and tries to nurse her back to health … this he does by keeping her chained to a radiator.

What there is of a theme appears to be the redemption of Lazarus, chaining to radiators apparently works wonders.

Don’t waste your time on a film that goes nowhere fast.
