Straightheads is a drawn out drama

Revenge is sweet, certainly for moviemakers. Everybody seems to be making films about getting even.

Anderson, in this slow-paced drama, hires Dyer to install a security system in her apartment and later invites him to a party in the country. Only the natives aren’t exactly friendly since they attack the couple, raping her and battering him.

More than somewhat miffed at this they decide to strike back … but somehow the drawn-out nature of the plot diminishes any potential tension or even satisfaction.
