Arcade Fire singer undergoes surgery

Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler has undergone a successful operation after a string of health problems.

The singer, who turned 27 on Saturday, had been suffering from a sinus and bronchial infection for three months prior to the March decision to cancel the Canadian's band's European tour.
