Perfect Stranger is a plonker of a film

Sometimes – as, most certainly, here – Willis turns up in a right plonker of a film.
It’s a thriller, though it’s so badly made that the thrill lies in trying to stay interested in what’s going on.
Berry and Ribisi are investigating the murder of a friend and the chief suspect is tycoon Willis. Berry gets herself a job in his company to garner information … which she might have passed across to the audience.
Somewhere in all the dross there’s a sort-of decent idea for a passable mystery but we never get within hailing distance of it here in a film whose listless cast appear to have telephoned in.
