Ireland triumph in Independent Film Festival

The privately-funded Irish rom-com 'Speed Dating' collected the Audience Award at the European Independent Film Festival in Paris.

It stars Don Wycherley, Emma Choy and Hugh O’Conor and was written, produced and directed by Tony Herbert.

The film is also in line for more majors at Florida, Malibu, Palm Beach, Newport Beach, Indianapolis and Phoenix.

It will be released here on April 20.
